Expert Perspectives Canada (EPC) is a social development consulting registered in Canada. It focuses on building capacity of individuals and agencies in achieving greater impact for the communities they work for. EPC offers services to individuals, non-profits and all levels of government in the areas of strategic planning, project cycle management, fundraising, gender mainstreaming etc.
The EPC team derives its expertise from professionals with vast practical experience across countries and regions. The themes and sessions are all founded in the snowball effect of gathering momentum gradually. Therefore, while the sessions vary from one to two days, they are essentially self-contained and if required, tailor made for more in-depth knowledge and information sharing.

Consultant Profiles:
Mahbub Hasan (Ph.D) is the founder and consultant of Expert Perspectives Canada. He has a Ph.D. degree in Anthropology. He studied Project Management and Business Communications at University of Toronto. He had his Bachelor and Master Social Work degrees from Ryerson University, Toronto. A Social worker, researcher and a development activist with more than 25 years’ experience, he currently works as a Faculty of Centennial College of Ontario. His specialized skills among others include: strategic planning, project management, programs & project evaluation, fundraising and qualitative social research.
Dr. Hasan has worked extensively in various capacities in international non-profit agencies across Asia, Europe and North America through ActionAid International, CIDA, VSO, CASSA, and University of Toronto. In 2015, Dr. Hasan won an international Fellowship award in 2015 for curriculum development by International Centre of Nonviolent Conflict. He is a Community Impact Advisor of United Way Toronto and York region.
Naheed M Ahmed is a non-profit expert with 26 years of experience in both development and humanitarian interventions across Asia and Africa through UN Women, ActionAid International and CIDA. From the grassroots community action to policy advocacy with the governments and regional bodies, she has passionately worked for women’s rights & concerns, program design, program management and evaluation. Her professional expertise includes: program assessment and evaluation; mainstreaming gender, diversity and human rights perspective in programs, strategic planning and program cycle management.
Academically, Naheed has an M Phil in Development Studies from the University of Geneva and a Master in Public Administration from University of Dhaka. She is fully bilingual – English and French and a widely travelled person.
